  	Isabella was born in North Sherbrooke Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of James Gilmour & Jessie Crawford. She was married May 1,1873 to Alexander Ferguson, son of Duncan Ferguson & Barabara Currie. Alex was married to Isabella's sister, Janet Gilmore in 1864, but she died of Typhoid fever in 1867 at the age of 21. Isabella also died of Typhoid fever in Sept. 1873, 4 months after her marriage to Alex. Alex then married a 3rd time to Margaret McKay on Feb.14,1882.
