  	Mrs. Leta Bernice Holgate Mrs. Leta Bernice Holgate passed June 24 in Chilliwack General Hospital and her funeral was held from Henderson's Funeral Chapel June 27, with Captain J. E. Read officiating. She was the wife of Dennis Holgate, Maple street. Mrs. Holgate was born in Chilliwack in 1922 and had lived here all her life. She was a member of the Salvation Army Women's| League. Among survivors are two daughters, Lois and Dorothy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mer-| cer, Rosedale: one sister, Mrs. J. (Grace) Dolman, Vancouver Island; two brothers, Foster Mercer, East Chilliwack and George Mercer, Flood.
