  	Nuptials in Milwaukee A romance that began in India was culminated recently in Milwaukee Wis when Lloyd Benjamin Sargent Jr, son of Mr and Mrs L B Sargent of Tacoma, and Mary Thomas Schiek the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Benjamin Theodore Schiek of Whitefish Bay, Milwaukee were married by the Rev Canon Marshall M. Day in an afternoon ceremony in Christ Episcopal church in Whitefish Bay. As the organ played Elgar's March No 2 the bride entered the church with her father. Her gown of sheer white wool was fashioned with a weighted train and the fitted jacket closed to the neck with self-covered buttons and was cut with a flared peplum. Heavy starched lace formed the bride's unusual cap' and fell to her shoulders over her dark hair. For "something blue" she wore her mother's blue sapphire pin on her antique rosepoint lace collar. Her "something old" was the family heirloom handkerchief which she carried with her tiny bouquet of orchids and stephanotis. Preceding the bride were Miss Nancy Jean Powers and Mrs Benjamin Thomas Schiek, sister-in-law of the bride, the former Jayne Armour of Grosse Pointe Mich. Their dresses were designed of sheer white wool with scalloped collars and sleeves; their ebony green changeable taffeta sashes tied in huge back bows, and they carried bouquets of scarlet carnations. Their tiny white lace hats were caught at each side with matching red flowers. Benjamin Thomas Schiek of Chicago and Lombard, the bride's brother, served as best man and the ushers were Robert Henry Allen, Milwaukee; David Thomas Branson, Aurora III; and Edgar Warren Branson of DePere Wis. After the reception, given in her home and gardens by Mrs John Wilkinson of Shorewood, the bride changed to a tailored wool suit of hunter's green, a beige and green hat, scarlet coat and beige accessories. Mr Sargent attended the College of Puget Sound and served with the Air Force in India and the Pacific theater.
