  	October 23, 1879 Father Burns, one of the veterans of LaPrairie, passed to that bourn from whence no travelor returns last week. He was considered among the best of the vetrinary surgeons of the country. He was a Scothchman by birth, and lived to be over 80. His funeral was very largely attended.  (sic)
