  	Death - Perth Courier - May 11,1900 - (Elphin News) - One of our oldest residents crossed that bourne from which none return about two weeks ago in the person of Mrs. James Gilmour. She being the same age as the Queen. She leaves a large family to mourn her loss: Alex. and Elizabeth at home; William, in North Sherbrooke; John, at Vennachar; Edward, at Ardoch; Mary (Mrs. Bain), at Fallbrook; and James, in Minnesota. Her husband preceded her to the grave about three years ago. Death - Lanark Era - Apr.25,1900 - At Elphin, Sunday, April 15th, Mrs. Gilmour, aged 80 years. Burial on Tuesday to Crawford's Cemetery.
