  	1949, Thursday April 21, The Almonte Gazette front page Miss Agnes Paul The death occurred at Perth on Monday, April 18, of Miss Agnes Paul following a lengthy period of failing health. She was born 79 years ago, the youngest daughter of the late William Paul and his wife, Jane Simpson, who lived on the 7th line of Ramsay Township. Except for a few years spent in Western Canada with her sister, all her life was spent in this district. She was the last member of her immediate family, two sisters and one brother having passed away many years ago. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs A.G. Naismith, Mrs Ed Rose and Mr Melville Paul and a niece and three nephews in Western Canada. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon from the home of Mr A.G. Naismith. Rev H.C. Wolfraim of Bethany United Church officiated and interment was in the Auld Kirk Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Messrs Frank Paul, Norman Paul, Melville Paul, A.G. Naismith, Gordon Thom and Herbert Stewart (Perth).
