  	MARION EDNA BAIRD, age 99 years, passed away peacefully at Parkview Place, Enderby, on Friday, October 29, 2004. Marion will be lovingly remembered by daughters Audrey (Bob) DeYoung of Armstrong and Myrla Kilburn of Toronto; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six brothers and sisters; extended family and friends. Predeceased by first husband Lockie Lantz in 1944 and second husband Wesley Baird in 1986. Marion was born at Rossburn, Manitoba, on February 18, 1905. She moved to Enderby in 1920 and has resided there since. Marion belonged to and held many offices in both the Eastern Star (member for 50 years) and the Rebekah Lodge (member for 46 years). She was also very active in the community with St. Andrew's United Church, Enderby Seniors Complex, New Horizons and the Historical Society. A private committal service was held Monday, November 1, 2004, at Cliffside Cemetery. Reverend Ken Jones officiated. Cremation. Arrangements in the care of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, Armstrong, 546-7237. Published in the Vernon Morning Star
