  	Blanche Georgia Teeson was born November 18, 1907 at Osakis, Minnesota, the daughter of George H. and Julia Fairfield. She graduated from Osakis High School and St. Barnabas Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis. After graduation she was employed as a registered nurse at the hospital in Alexandria. On June 30, 1933 she was united in marriage to George R. Teeson. She was a member of the Emanuel Episcopal Church in Alexandria. George and Blanche resided in Alexandria until 1973 at which time they moved to Sun City, Arizona. Blanche died at Good Shepherd Care Center in Peoria, Arizona on December 25, 1999. She is survived by daughter Elizabeth of Sun City, son Jerry of Coon Rapids, MN, granddaughter Jennifer of Coon Rapids, and sister Margaret Dale Didier of Osakis. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband George, son Robert, three sisters Kari Ann Laven, Elinore Bentley, Marian Dean Richards and two brothers John Franklin and George Everett. A memorial service will be held in Alexandria at a later date. Interment will be in the family lot at Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria. (Echo Press, 5 January 2000)
