  	Patricia "Patsy" Eleanor (O'Brien) Liedl, of Rice Lake, WI was 96 years of age when she passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Alphonse Liedl Jr; a grandson, Mathew; a sister, Molly; and a brother, Wallace "Tad". Patricia was the daughter of Wallace and Rachael (Lynch) O'Brien. Patsy graduated from the Convent of the Visitation School in St. Paul and her devotion to the spirit of the Visitation was the core of her faith. She then attended the University of Minnesota to become a dental hygentist and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Patsy married Dr. Alphonse Joseph Liedl Jr on June 26, 1946 in St. Paul. She loved being a mother and took care of her family with all of her heart. Patsy enjoyed reading, devoting herself to her animals, working crossword puzzles, attending the theatre and listening to music. She was a laundress extraordinaire and took great pride in her ability to remove any stain. Patsy was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the League of Women Voters, Rice Lake Fortnightly Club, a board member and a tutor at St. Joseph School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Bishop James Powers officiating, with interment in the Roselawn Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
