  	Died Suddenly On Thursday evening last, Margaret Gilliespie, wife of Mr. Hugh Johnston, died suddenly at her home, aged 64 years. for some time Mrs. Johnston has not been very well although, able to be about. She was troubled with heart disease and an affection of the lungs. A few days before her death she took to her bed and on Thursday evening passed away quite unexpectedly to those waiting upon her. She was a daughter of Thos. Gilliespie, and was married to Hugh Johnston some 37 years ago, with whom she has since lived in Lanark. The deceased was a woman of a pleasing disposition, good to entertain and will be much missed in the society in which she moved. The community share the sorrow of the bereft oones in their loss.
