- NEWELL Gordon Stewart, suddenly at the age of 67, on November 9, 1991. Born In Victoria on March 15, 1924. Survived bv his loving wife, Barbara, of 41 years; son, Stephen (Lynne); daughter, Sandy (Rob) Williams, all of Victoria; grandchildren, Stephen and Michael Williams, Daniel and Jennifer Newell; sisters, Lillian (Chuck) Bennett, Courten- ay; Maymie Barnes, Marguerite Arnev, Victoria, tris (BUI) Peters, Cowichan Lake; brothers, Lyall (Mickey), Whitley, Ontario, Pat (Peggy), Victoria, B.C.; sister-in-law, Alice; Patricia of Victoria; Muriel of Mill Bay, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Gordon was an Engi neer Custodian with the Victoria School Board (61 for 35 years. He will be sadlv missed by everyone who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1155 Fort Street, Victoria, B.C. on Thursday, November 14 at a.m., with Canon Gates officiating.
