  	Funeral Ship Is Bringing Body Of War Hero Home Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller, 961 Pipestone street, have been notified that the body of their son, S/Sgt. Marion Ray Miller, who was killed in action June 18, 1944 in Warmingster, Eng., is enroute to the United States aboard the Army transport James E. Robinson. Following his death he was temporarily buried in a military cemetery in Brookwood, Eng. A liason pilot with the 12th Observation Squadron of the Army Air Corps, Sgt. Miller had completed many dangerous missions over Europe. According to news received by his parents, at the time of his death he was on a mission to France when his plane struck a high tension wire which set fire to the plane. Going overseas two years after his enlistment on March 26, 1940, he received his training at Fort Knox, Ky., Esler Field, La., and Fort Dix, N.J. Sgt. Miller was born Oct. 25, 1918 in Linton, Ind., and came with his parents to Benton Harbor at the age of 11. After attending Benton Harbor high school he was employed at the Benton Harbor Malleable Industries and the Frost Gear & Forge compnay at Jackson, Mich. Survivors include his parents, one brother, Stanley Miller, of Benton Harbor; eight sisters, Mrs. Ruby Secrest, Bedford, Ind., Mrs. Dorothy Bellenger, and Mrs. Rosemary Mensinger, Benton Harbor, Mrs. Nina Jeschke, St. Joseph, Mrs. Phyllis Roberts, Ann Arbor, Beverly, Donna and Joyce at home, and seven nieces and two nephews.
