  	Robert Miller Gilmour On February 28th Robert Miller Gilmour passed away. His last illness followed years of suffering which he bore with unfailing patience and courage. The deceased was born in West Glover January 17th, 1873. In 1905 he bought a farm in Barton north of the village which he called "The Pines". He married Lillian Campbell of Albayn on October 9, 1907, at Morrisville. For many years - until ill health caused him to move to his late home - he was a successful farmer. He was a trustee of Barton village for fourteen years. His resignation from office in 1936 was occasioned by failing health He was a member of Orleans Lodge, No. 55, F & AM, and Orient Chapter, No. 13, O.E.S. He loved his family, his home, the town and people in it. To them he gave his best in faithful service and never ending loyalty. His wife, Lillian Gilmour, and two children, Elizabeth and Wayne; one sister, Mrs J. P, Urie; his aunt, Mrs. Marion Nelson; and two half-brothers, David, of Wolcott, and James Gilmour of Waterbury mourn his loss.
