  	Obituary Sad news was received in town on Monday, Feb3rd, of the death in Winnipeg of Margaret McPherson Kellock, wife of Lieut Col Scott, collector of customs. Mrs. Scott was born in Perth in 1842, being the daughter of the late Robert Kellock. After her marriage, Capt. now Lieut Col Scott continued to reside here, and published the Expositor. Captain Scott went to Winniped with the military expeditions, and afterwards decided to locate there, and his wife and family moved there with him. Mrs. Scott's death will be regretted by a large circle of friends by whom she was ever held in high esteem for her loving and unselfish disposition and unaffected piety which she exhibited in everyday life, as well as in the home and church. Her illness extending over several month was borne with cheerful and christian resignation. In religion she was a Baptist. Interment by her husband Lt Col Scott three sons took place in Winnipeg. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Fred and John, Winnipeg, Col. R. Kellock Scott, DSO, Ottawa and Misses May and Mabel at home. J.F, Kellock is the only surviving brother and Mrs Wm. Allan, Allan's Mills, and Mrs Hugh Robertson, town are sisters. The Perth Courier 7 Feb 1907
