Mr. Mngowan at Lethbridge, Alberta, August 18, when Verna May Goodiad, third daughter of Pte. Scott Goodiad of the Veterans Guard of Canada, and Mrs. Goodiad, becams the bride of Robert Stuart Gibson of the R.C-A.F. from No, 8 B. and G. School, Lethbridge. The attendants were the bride's youngest sister, Ivy Goodiad, and Benjamin Rotblatt, also of the R.C.A-.F. The bride wore a lovely floor-length gown of white chiffon with embroidery and trimmings of self flowers. The finger-tip veil was held In place by a bridal wreath of white flowers and leaves, and the bridal bouquet was of red roses, sweet peas and fern. A wedding dinner was served at the Park Lane Cafe.
