  	Mary Beatrice Lake Suddenly at Marnwood House Nursing Home Saturday, Dec. 6th, in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late John and Clarissa (Clark) Lake.  Dear sister of Harold, Bowmanville, Mrs Ken Robins (Margaret), Ottawa, and Mrs Clayton Farnel (Jennie) of Perth. Predeceased by brothers Percy and Archie and sisters Mrs Mackevatt (Laura), Mrs Fred McGinnis (Ruby), Mrs Richard Burke (Catherine). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mary lived in the Perth area with her parents until her father's death in 1957 when she went to reside with her brother Harold in Bowmanville. She suffered a stroke eight years ago and entered Marnwood House. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Byron Yates in the chapel of the Northcutt Elliot Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment at Bowmanville Cemetery. A memorial service was held Thursday, December 18th at Marnwood House. Miller Clipping File
