  	Recent Deaths - Rev James Robert Baird Rev. James Robert Baird died at his home on Washington street on Saturday evening, March 9, at 6 o'clock. If the deceased had lived until April he would have been 79 years of age. His death was caused by a general breakdown of his system. he preached his last ssermon on new Years, 1906, in the free Methodist church, where he was asked to officiate at a watch meeting. The last regular charge held by the deceased was in the state of Michigan, where he was pastor of a Covenantor church about 14 years ago. about that tie he moved to this place and had resided here ever since. The deceased was married three times, and his third wife still survives him. He is also survived by two children by his first wife, viz, Robert, of Ottawa City, Canada, and Mrs Eliza Ann Matthews, of Warren, O[hio]. The deceased was born in Canada, his parents having emigrated there from Scotland. The funeral service was held at his late residence on Tuesday at 1:30.
