  	Obituary At McDonald's Corners, Thurs. Sept. 3rd, Alexander McDonald, sr., aged 84 years. Born at Playfair, eldest son of John McDonald, who came from Scotland in 1815. He married Mary Cameron, who died ten years ago. They had eight children; Hugh, and Alex in Dalhousie; John in the West; Mrs. Hugh Wilson, Elphin; Mrs McDonald, Palmyra, NY; Mary & Bella, at home. One son, Samuel, is dead. Two brothers survive, Peter, and Hugh. Mrs. Elliott, Michl, and Mrs Wm Lee, Fallbrook, are sisters. Burial in the Highland Line Cemetery on Saturday.
