  	Mrs. Mary Elliott Bad Axe, Nov. 26 Mrs. Mary Elliott, 95, widow of Archie Elliott and prominent Huron county pioneer for more than 50 years, died in her home in Colfax township this morning after an illness of several months. Mrs. Elliott is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. John Stang, Detroit; Mrs W.P. Hosttler, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs Sarah E Smith, Greenleaf township, Sanilac county; Mrs Elizabeth McKenzie, Portland, Ore.; Miss Rachael Elliott, Palm Beach, Fla.; Miss Jane Elliott and Miss Florence Elliott, both at home, two sons, Herbert and Edward Elliott, both at home, 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren The former Miss Mary McDonald was born in Lanark County, Canada. Jul 19, 1842. She was the daughter of a veteran of the war of 1812. She came to Huron county with her husband in 1884 and settled on the farm where she had lived ever since. Her husband died 16 years ago. Eight of her nine children were present at the celebration of her ninety-fifth birthday this summer.
