Seventh son of the late Dr. William McLean Rowat and his wife Mary Louisa Miles of Athelstan, Quebec. Predeceased by six older rothers and one sister. Survived by his brother-in-law, H.L. Atkinson of Aurora, Ontario, his sister-in-law, Mrs. W.E.A. Rowat of Huntingdon, Quebec, six nephews, seven nieces, and many great and great-great nephews and nieces. A funeral service will be held in Montreal at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, 3415 Redpath Avenue, on Wednesday, December 29 at 2 p.m.
