In ill-health for the past year, Mrs. Archibald McLaren passed away at her home on Boulton street Sunday night. Her maiden name was Sarah Lister and she was a native of Perth, daughter of the late Andrew Lister, who was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Ann Oates, of Drummond township, near Perth, the family consisting of five daughters and three sons. On December 26th, 1894, she was married to Archibald McLaren, a prominent farmer of North Elmsley.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Clark, of Smiths Falls, and Archibald, of Toronto; two brothers, James, of Fallbrooke, George A., of Winnipeg, and four sisters, Jennie and Margaret, of Perth; Mrs. John Black, of Smiths Falls, and Mrs. James Daniels, of Windsor.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the family residence to Elmwood cemetery.
