  	At Powassin, Tuesday, July 26, 1910, John Leckie Purdon, aged 82 years. Born in Dalhousie Township, the son of Mr. Robert Purdon and the youngest of a family of thirteen, all now deceased. In 1871 he married Agnes Lorimer, who survives at the age of 86 years. His only child is G.F. Purdon, hotelkeeper at Powassin. Burial in that place. Lanark Era Wed. August 10, 1910 Inscription
