  	St Charles Union March 30, 1911 Little Ruth E. Dickson was born August 2nd, 1906 and died March 15th, 1911. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Hamrin, were held in the Methodist church, and interment was made in the Hillside cemetery. Like a little flower, during her short stay among us, she shed brightness and sunshine wherever she went, greeting friend or Stranger alike with a bright little smile or a wave of the tiny hand. Ruth was loved by the community for her gentle, sweet, loving, disposition, and until she fell peacefully asleep, to awaken in that Brighter Land, was a constant source of joy land comfort to her loved ones. She left sorrowing parents, grandparents and numerous relatives, who, while they do not rebel at this bereavement, cry out for her bodily presence
