Thomas Francis Flournoy, 69, cattle rancher and descendant of an early day family for whom the town of Flournoy, Tehama County, is named, died Saturday night in the home of his sister, Mrs Frances Harbert of Corning. He was born December 30, 1878, near Flournoy, one of 12 children of George Henry and Nannie Martin Flournoy. For many years he was in partnership with Mrs. Macie I. Tate in operating a cattle ranch near Paskenta, Tehama County. Flournoy, a member of the Masons, Order of Eastern Star and Elks Lodges, leaves his son, Henry of Paskenta; his daughters, Mrs. Irma Colling of San Carlos; his sisters, Mrs Harbert andMrs. Nannie Houghton, both of Corning, and his brotherss, C.E. of Flournoy and W.E. of Corning. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday in Yost's Corning Mortuary, followed by interment at 2 pm in the Newville Cemetery.
