  	wife of Donald Barrington Suddenly, at her home, Smiths Falls on Thursday, October 2, 2008 Joan (Farnel) Barrington at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Donald Barrington. Loved mother of Terri Anne (Bernie) Jansen, Karen (Peter) Macpherson and Heather Barrington (Bill Healey) all of Smiths Falls. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Morgan Jansen, Kim, Chris and Curtis Macpherson, Dawn Barrington, Kelsey Budynski and great-granddaughter Alicia Strickland. Dear sister and best friend of Gail Irmler of London and sister-in-law of Enid Brown and Eva (Lloyd) Brown of Jasper. Dear friend of Joan Jones. Predeceased by her parents Clayton and Jennie Farnel. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday, October 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Wolford Cemetery.
