The church was decorated with evergreens and autumn flowers. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. T.M. Murrray, of Powassan, assisted by Mr. Holmes. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore white crepe Elizabeth with wide moire girdle and veil of tulle arranged with orange blossoms in a juliet cap effect. Her bouquet was a sheaf of roses and lily of the valley. The bride's sister, Miss Emma Simpson, was bridesmaid and wore pink crepe Elizabeth with black picture hat with touches of pink. Her bouquet was of roses and maiden hair fern. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Wellesley Barber. Mrs. Emerson Simpson presided at the organ and, during the signing of the register, Mrs Ashley Armstrong gave a pleasing vocal solo. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a mesh bag, to the bridesmaids, organist, soloist and best man suitable gifts of jewelry. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's father, where the couple received the congratulations and good wishes of a host of friends. The young couple left on a honeymoon trip to ....
