  	Father Identifies Girl Who Fell From Monument on Island Port Clinton, July 30 William J. Lester of Hazel Park, Mich., has identified the body of the girl who plunged to her death last Friday from the top of the 352-foot Perry Memorial monument at Put-in Bay as his daughter, Betty, 18, Ottawa County Coroner George A. Poe ruled the death suicide. The father said Miss Lester had started for Cedar Point with her sister, Helene, 15, and a girl friend, but got off the boat at Put-in Bay without the knowledge of her companions. When the girls returned home they reported the disappearance of Betty and the father, without knowing of the deaty at the island, started for Put-in Bay where he learned what had occurred and he then came to Port Clinton and identified the body as that of his daughter. He stated that the daughter had been ill for several months and at times became despondent. The parents and sisters, Helene and Joanne, survive.
