- Thos. Gibbins Dies at 85 (Special to The Gazette.) Brockville, April 21. Thomas Gibbins. resident of Brockville for 63 years and for 40 years a'foremarr with the Rathoun Lumber Co. and the Brockville Lumber Corporation, is dead' at his home here, aged 85. He was a native of Smiths Falls and one of the founders of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Mrs. George C. Howison, Brockville; Mrs. Margaret Elliott, Ottawa, and Walter B. Gibbins, East Orange, N.J.

At his late residence 10(16) Hill St, Brockville, Tuesday April 20, 1937, Thomas Gibbins in his 86th year. Remains are resting at his home until tomorrow, Thursday, when they will be removed to St Pauls church when the service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment in Oakland Cemetery.

In the death at his residence last evening of Thomas Gibblns, Brockvllle loses one of its oldest and highly esteemed citizens. Bom in Smiths Falls on November 14, 1851, the late Mr. Gibbins was in his 86th year. He was a
son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Gibblns. natives of England, and a carpenter by trade. He had resided In Brockvllle for more than 63 years and for 40 years of that time was a foreman In the Rathburn Lumber Company and Brockvllle Lumber Corporation plants here.
The late Mr. Gibblns was one of the founders and original members of St. Paul's Anglican church and a member of the executive committee since the church was started. He had also been a member of the town council several years ago. Besides his wife, the former Jane Susannah Ferrier of Perth, he is survived by two daughters and one son. They are: Mrs. George C. Howison, Brockville; Mrs. Margaret Elliott. Ottawa, and Walter B. Gibblns, East Orange, N.J.
