  	THE LANARK ERA Wed. Mar. 9th, 1927 - death Balderson, Fri. Feb. 25th, 1927, Mrs. Edward King, aged 81 years. Margaret Lawson was born at Lombardy and married 58 years ago. Mr. King predeceased her some years ago. She is survived by three sons and one daughter; Harry of Ogema, SK; Edward and James of Balderson and Mrs. George Echlin of Weyburn, SK. Three daughters and one son are deceased. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Died Margaret Lawson Mrs Edward King (Margaret Lawson) resident of Balderson for over half a century and widely known, highly respected in the community, died February 25th, Friday, 1927, at 8 1 years. Born Margaret Lawson daughter of Walter Lawson and Margaret Livingstone of Lombardy. Fifty-eight years ago (1869) she married Edward King of Elmsley who predeceased her. She is survived by 3 sons Messrs Hary King of Ogema, Sask; Edward and James of Balderson; and one daughter Mrs (Maggie) George Echlin of Weyburn, Sask; three daughters and 1 son predeceased her. Julis, Mrs J. Greig, Aggie, Mrs A. Darling; and Edna and Albert King. Members of Balderson United Church, funerall was held from her late residence to Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. R.A. McRae officiated. Pallbearers were Christopher Bell, James Pennett, Robert McIntyre, James McNaughton, Henry Mather, Robert Willis. The Lanark Era
