  	This obituary was published 24 Apr 1914 in The Perth Courier: Miss Margaret Hogan, daughter of Mrs. Wm. Hogan, North Street, died in the St. Francis de Sales hospital, Smith's Falls, in the early morning hours of Monday, where she had been receiving treatment for the past two months or so. Her life of 18? Or 48 years was quietly lived in Perth and Bathurst, where she made many friends. Hers was a kind hearted disposition. Her mother, two brothers and a sister survive her: James P. of the Imperial Hotel, Richard and Miss Mary Jane. The funeral took place on Wednesday morning to St. John's church where requiem mass was sung and interment was afterwards made in the Roman Catholic cemetery.
