  	William G. Ashby Ill only a few hours, William G. Ashby, 17 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs James Ashby of Dalhousie, near Lanark, died at Appleton on Wednesday morning of last week. The young man had been employed at the woollen mill at Appleton since September and the day previous to his death he spoke to his landlady of not feeling well. The next morning he was critically ill and before medical aid arrived the young man had passed away. Born near Fallbrook, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ashby. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers and one sister, Elmer and Morley at home of Mrs. J Paul of McDonald's Corners. A brother Harold is deceased. The body was brought from Appleton to Young's funeral parlor at Lanark where a short serice was held on Thursday afternoon. Rev. R.A. Cameron officiating. Interment was at Playfair cemetery. The remains were borne by Stanley and Anthony Hall, James Gemmill, Kenneth McKenzie, Ronald Thompson and Howard Playfair.
