John Flood, Missionary, Church of England, Penetanguishene, in the 61st year of his age and 31st of his ministry....native Glasgow Scotland.... emigrated 1815, settled 1816 Scotch Line near Perth... married a daughter of late Lieut T. Read, R.N., of March by whom he had five daughters, all of whom survive him. He is a brother-in-law of Rev. T.B. Read, D.D., Rector Grimsby and of Mr. Adam McKinlay, Scotch Line.
