A quiet wedding was solemnized in St James Church, Carleton Place on Tuesday evening, Feb. 25th when Miss Sarah A. Ashby, second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Ashby of Fallbrooke, was united in matrimony to one of Carleton's highly esteemed young men in the person of Mr. Daniel C. Nichols. Promptly at the hour the bride entered the church on thc arm of her brother, Mr. Russell Ashby, while the wedding.march was being played by Mr. F. G. Mann, Miss Pearl Brazer was bridesmaid and Mr. Thos. Nichols supported the groom. The bride looked very pretty in a bridal suit of navy blue and carrying bridal roses. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Nichols repaired to their home, John street, which the groom had in readiness. Hearty congratulations and best wishes are extended to the happy couple by a wide circle of friends. - Central Canadian
