John Whitfield Fenton, 58 years of age, Cochrane district farmer, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alex Beadle, Cochrane, after a long illness.
Born in Newmarket, Ont., Mr. Fenton had farmed near Cochrane since 1929. Besides Mrs. Beadle, he is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. William Merkley, Fort William, Ont.; Mrs. Baxendaly, Murillo, Ont., and Viola and Eva, Cochrane; six sons, Robert, Earl, Elmer, Arthur, Jack and Jim, all of Cochrane; five brothers, Wellington, Fort William; Orin, New Westminster; Lloyd and Gladstone, Cochrane, and Dan, Calgary; and six sisters, Mrs. R. McLeod, Fort William; Mrs. A. McMichael, Mrs. M. Morse and Mrs. J. Morgan, Vancouver, and Mrs. E. Thompson and Mrs. G. Culling, Cochrane. Announcement will be made later by Jacques Funeral Home.
