  	McLellan, Second line, Bathurst, on Monday October 12th, George B. McLellan, aged 67 years. Perth Courier 23 Oct 1903 McLellan An old resident of Bathurst township, one who thirty years ago was well known in Lanark Village, Mr. George McLelan, died at his late home, 2nd concession Bathurst, on Monday night, says the Era. Deceased was 67 years of age, only surviving brother of Mrs. John McLean, Lanark Village. Death was due to general disability. Since the spring Mr. McLellan suffered severe illness. Mr mcLellan was well known in Bathurst and in his younger days had a wide acquaintance throughout the county. Three sisters remain to mourn his loss. At one time the family consisted of three boys and eight girls - now reduced to three in all Perth Courier 23 Oct 1903.
