- George was 69 when he died.
He enjoyed playing crib, darts, and bingo and loved bowling.
He is survived by his long time partner Jean Murray, his daughters, Bonnie (Garry) Adams, Heather (Larry) Smith and Carla Pollock, his sisters, Glennis Pollock, Frances (Jack) Smith and Bertha Adams, his grand-children, Nancy, Lisa, Johnaton, Tabatha, Christopher, and Carrie-Ann, and his great-grandchildren, Keith, Rebecca, Cory, and Savannah as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Carrie, his brothers, Whitney Betteridge, Reggie, Ronnie, and Beverly and his sisters, Doris and Dawn.
Pallbearers were Garth Fitzgerald, Vimy Lyons, John MacDonald, Garry Adams, and Robert and William Betteridge.
