  	Obituary Archie Fisher Allan After a lengthy illness, Archie F. Allan passed away in the GWM Hospital, on January 29th at the age of seventy-one years and six months. Born on the Scotch Line, the yougest son of the late Christina Fisher and Robert Allan. One of a large and much respected family of which are all deceased but one brother Robert on the old Allan homestead. Deceased was married to Alice Imeson on December 31st, 1909. To this marriage was born two sons. They resided on a farm for several years on the Scotch Line, later moving to a farm near Burrit's Rapids. Here Mrs. Allan Died on April 12, 1945. In 1950 deceased was married to Grace Grierson (widow of the late Lorne Scott) in Perth. Since then they have resided in Perth. Surviving besides widow of Perth, are two sons, Robert of Smiths Falls, Ronald of Renfrew, two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Cecil Carkner) Easton's Corners, Grace (Mrs Lionel Nadon) Montreal. Also seven grandchildren. The funeral which was largely attended was held from the Blair and Son chapel, thence to the Scotch Line Cemetery. The service was conducted by Rev. Mr. Milroy of the Presbyterian Church. The pallbearers were six nephews Homer Palmer, Robert and Don Moodie, Bert, William and Stuart Allan. His high esteem was shown by the many beautiful floral tributes received and his funeral which was largely attended. Perth Courier 7 March 1957.
