  	After an illness of only one week Henry Nelson Halpenny died at Mlnnedosa. aged 60 years. He is survived bv his widow and two daughters, one Mrs. C. C. Heard, of Winnipeg, and the other. Miss Florence, at home. Mr. Halpenny was born tn Pertb county, Ont., in 1866. and came with hls parents to Manitoba In 1884; they were among the first settlers In the Mlnnedosa district, residing a short distance east of the town. He married Miss Nellie Bolton. 33 years ago, and carried on business in Mlnnedoaa for many years. Hla death Is the first break In a family of five brother and four sisters.
