Home of Mrs. D. Dobbie, 814 Sherburn street, Winnipeg, was the scene of a pretty wedding August 3 when her only daughter, G. Alice R. Dobbie, became the bride of Harold R. Clow, Fillmore, son of Mr. William Clow, Virden, Man., and the late Mrs. Clow.
Rev. J. A. Bowman, pastor of Epworth United church, Winnipeg, officiated. The fireplace banked with snapdragons, delphiniums, and ferns was the setting for the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, John Dobbie, wore a gown of dusky pink crepe. She carried talisman roses and sweet peas. Miss Myrtle Lane, Virden, was bridesmaid and wore navy sheer polka dot with corsage of sweetheart roses. Miss Thirza Cann, neice of the groom, as flower girl, wore forget- me-not taffeta and carried sweet peas and delphiniums. Morris Clow, Minnedosa, attended his brother. Wedding music was played by Mrs. H. Dandy, Winnipeg.
Following the ceremony a buffet luncheon and reception was held. Mr. and Mrs. Clow left for Vancouver. The bride travelled In a two-piece frock of midnight blue crepe with hat and accessories. On their return they will reside in Fillmore. Out-of-town guests at. the wedding Included; Mr. and Mrs. Preston Bowen-Smlth. Fillmore; Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Clow and daughter Ann of Minnedosa; Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Cann and daughter Thirza. Virden, Manitoba.
