Maud was born in Towanda, PA, a daughter of Charles Brown and Mary Horton per their marriage registration. Ray and Maud married October 13, 1909, Elmira, New York. The marriage witnesses were Charles Knox and Tillie Knox. They were the brother-in-law and sister of Maud Brown Campbell. Secondly, Ray was married to Elfreda Andrew, the daughter of William and Dora Andrew. He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Elfreda Campbell; nieces, nephews and cousins. The pallbearers for Ray's funeral were: Thomas Parr, Wesley McDermott, Robert Deaves, Leo Solomon, Charles Bell and Lawrence Iacovelli.
