MacKinnon united in marriage Miss Mabel Bernice Mercer, Chilliwack, and John Franklin Hansen. The ceremony took place under an arch of evergreens and Christmas bells, and P. W. Price played the bridal music. Given in marriage by her brotherin-law, Duncan Scott, the bride wore a Windsor rose taffeta frock showing quilting on skirt and sleeves and a wine velvet girdle. A golden sequin cap held her veil. She attended by Mrs. R. Lee Hansen, wearing rose satin with bertha collar. The groom was supported by his brother, Lee Hansen.
