  	Fatal Run to Fire Carleton Place Fire Chief Victim of Over-Exertion Carleton Place, Ont., January 12 -- The exertion of running from a local theatre to the fire station is believed to have been responsible for the death here during the night of William McIlguham, fire chief here for a number of years. He heard the fire siren while in the theatre and ran som 400 yards to the station, proceeding to the scene of the fire, which was a small blaze in a chimney. He returned to his office, telling his son he was not feeling well. He died soon afterwards. He was 67 years old.
