- Hayes E. Warrington
Hayes E. Warrington, beloved husband of Lillian Caroline Smith passed away in the Ottawa Civic Hospital, Monday, April 25th, 1966 in hia 62nd year.
He was the son of the late James Warrington and his wife, Elizabeth matthie. He was born near Fallbrook, December 16th, 1904 He leaves to mourn his loss four daughters and three sons (Dorothy) Mrs Phonzie Gemmill, of McDonald's Corners; (Mary) Mrs.Clifford Allan, RR 2 Maberly; (Muriel), Mrs Kenneth Greer of Perth; (Phyllis) Mrs Murray Strong, of Beachville, Ont: one daughter, (Ada) Mrs. Clarence Fleming passed away April 24, 1956; John, Crow Lake; Kenny and Gerald of Maberly. He also leaves to mourn his loss 18 grandchildren, two daughters-in-law, five sons-in-law, three sisters and two half sisters, (Ada), Mrs Hubert Robinson, St. Thomas, North Dakota; Mrs Cora Williams, Perth; (Hannah), Mrs. Russell Radford of Smiths Falls; Mrs Mary Stewart, of Perth; and (Alice), Mrs Neil Blair of Maberly. A sister, Sadie, a brother William, and two half-brothers, James and John passed away a number of years ago.
The funeral was conducted at the Morrow Funeral Home in Perth, Rev. Mr. Smeaton officiated and spoke comforting words to his wife, family and relatives. The hymns were "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "What a Friend we Have in Jesus".
Interment was in Crawford Cemetery, McDonald's Corners. Pallbearers were Miller Warrington, Joseph Foster, Craig Greer, Carl Ferguson, Frank McKinnon and Cyril McKinnon.
