  	Mrs. Tena Truelove Friends and relatives were shocked and saddened on learning of the sudden death of Christena (Tina) Trulove at her residence, 94 Peter St. on Saturday, April 13, 1974. She was the last surviving member of the family of the late John Truelove and Maria McKerracher. Born and educated in Drummond, she was married in 1923 to Alexander A. Ferrier who predeceased her in 1960. For over 35 years they farmed on the Scotch Line. Lef to mourn the loss of a devoted and loving mother and wife are sons Ivan of Harrowsmith, Orville on the Scotch Line, daughters Gladys (Mrs Earl Lally), Ottawa; Marion (Mrs. Robert Galna), Bowmanville; ten grand children and her husband, John L. Truelove of Perth whom she married in 1964. A son Arnold predeceased her. Mrs. Truelove was of a cheerful disposition, always willing to help others in any way she could. For many years she was very active in the Women's League and Evening Auxiliary of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The funeral was conducted by her minister, Rev. R. J. Gillanders on Tuesday , April 16, 1974 from Blair & Son Funeral Home. A favorite hymn :Beyond the Sunset" was sung by Miss Dorothy Dodds and Mr. Len Gilhuly. Honorary pallbearers were Mervyn Ferrier and John Haveron. Active pallbearers were Arthur Ferrier, Ernest Millerm George Truelove, Arnold Truelove, Willis Trueloe and Welzie McLaren. The many flowers, donations to the Heart Fund and Gideon society and the capacity-filled chapel attested the esteem in which she was held. Interment was in the Scotch Line Cemetery.
