  	Mrs. Mary Williamson, relict of the late David Williamson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm Ward, John Street, Watford, on Friday, January 20th, after a lengthened illness. Deceased whose maiden name was Mary Lamb, was born in the County of Lanark, Sept 25th 1823. Her husband predeceased her some 14 years ago. She leaves eight sons and two daughters, and one sister, Mrs. Broadly of London, to mourn her death. The sons are William and Henry of Warwick; James and Joseph, in Manitoba; Charles of Brooke; Richard D., California; Benjamin, of Moore; and Andrew, in Dakota. The daughters are Mrs. Wm. Ward, Watford, and Mrs. Bryce in the Northwest. The funeral took place on Sunday to the Watford cemetery and was one of the largest held here for some time. The pallbearers were six grandsons, the last sad rites being performed by Rev. E. B. Horne, M.A. pastor of the Presbyterian Church, at which denomination the deceased was a lifelong and consistent members. Mrs. Williamson's descendants are very numerous being probably seventy-five or more of them living. Submitted By     sharon_blair316
