  	Wedding Bells As pretty a wedding as has been solemnized for some time took place in the Baptist church, Westport, on Wednessday evening of last week, the contracting parties being Mr. Peter Munroe, of Maberly, and Miss Annie Ritcvhie, daughter of Mr. John Ritchie, Sr., Althorpe. The bride who is one of Althorpe's fairest and most popular daughters, looked charming in a neat suit of cream satin brocade, trimmed with silk lace and pearls, with a hat to match. She was assisted by her neice, Miss Belle, who was attired in pink, trimmed with white silk lace and pearls, while Mr. Josie Munro, brother of the groom, ably performed the duties of groomsman. At 6:30 the young couple arrived at the church, which was beautifully decorated with evergreens and ferns, the alter being literally covered with flowers. They marched up the aisle to the sweet strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played by mrs. Derbyshire. The gordian knot was tied by the pastor, Rev. C.E. Harrel, after which the young couple accompanied by a large number of friends and showers of rice and good wishes left for the home of the bride's parents in Althorpe, where an elaborate supper awaited them. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present.  The young couple then left for their future home in Oso. Althorpe thus loses one of her most charming young ladies, but she carries with her the sincerest good wishes of a host of friends. We heartily congratulate Mr. Munroe on his choice of a life partner, and wish the young couple a long and prosperous voyage on the matrimonial sea on which they have embarked.
