  	Rae was the middle child of three girls; Edna was the eldest and Roberta, the youngest. Rae studied and became a registered nurse, working in Ottawa. She quietly battled schizophrenia for most of her adult life and never married. Rae died in 1983 in Carleton Place, at the age of 74. Her sister Roberta was laid to rest beside her. Roberta was an admin secretary with the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development in Ottawa, for over 35 years. Both sisters were much loved aunts and great aunts. Gravesite Details Her sister Roberta Elizabeth Jeanette Baird (Mar 2, 1917-June 14, 2002) was laid to rest beside Rachel. No marker was placed.
