Barbara E. Bell
August 18th, 1955, marked the passing of Barbara Elizabeth Wrathall, daughter of the late Lupton Wrathall and his wife Barbara Gilchrist, in her 79th year.
Born in the township of Bathurst, the deceased resided on the home farm near Harper until her marriage to William Robert Bell, on January 1st, 1913, residing with her husband on the Bell Homestead, on the sixth concession of Bathurst until the time of her death.
Surviving in addition to her husband, is one sister, Mrs Jas. L. Cameron, Fallbrook; and one son, Clyde. Mrs Bell was predeceased by two sisters, Miss mary Wrathall, and Helen, Mrs Walter Palmer; also three brothers, Archie, George L. and Wm. J. Wrathall.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. A. E. Caulfield from Blair and Son's Chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 20th, with interment in the family plot, Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Walter Cameron, Cecil Popplewell, Kenneth Popplewell, Leslie Poppewell, Lorne Bell and Roy Keays.
