Edwin s/o William Rae and Elizabeth ( ? ) Camden Advance Journal: April 4, 1901 - Obituary states North Bay - April 2 - William Rae, an old resident died at his home in West Vienna, Saturday from a relapse of the grip. He was about 78 years old. Mr. Rae was of Scotch descent, and was but a few weeks old when his parents embarked for America. Mr. Rae was a staunch republican, a man esteemed for his sterling worth. He is survived by two sons - Edward Rae, manager of the Oneida County Home farm, at Rome, and James B. Rae of West Vienna, and two daughters -- Misses Janett and Belle Rae, who have so kindly cared for their father since the death of their mother, which occurred many years ago. The funeral was held Wednesday and interment in Lake View Cemetery.
