There passed away in Perth Hospital on Saturday a lifelong resident of Rideau Ferry in the person of William Duncan Campbell at the age of 69 years and 11 months. Deceased was born at Rideau Ferry and followed the trade of blacksmith all his life. He was a son of the late David Campbell and Sarah Emerson. Surviving are his wife, who was the former Margaret Barr; three sons, Mervyn and Lloyd of Toronto; Cyril, Perth; five daughters, Mrs. T. Whitticar, Toronto; Mrs. Ernest Todd, Brockville; Mrs. Durrock Whitticar and Mrs. Jessie Clarke, Smiths Falls, and Miss Hilda, Brockville. The funeral will take place on Monday afternoon from his late home to Rideau Ferry cemetery and will be under the auspices of the L.O.L. R.B.P., of which lodge the deceased was a member.
